The City of Havelock has established several departments that focus on a particular area of business and/or residence so that we may provide up-to-date, accurate information for those who need it. Please visit any of the department pages for more information.
Administrative Services provides support to the Mayor, Board of Commissioners, City Manager, City Departments and most importantly, to the citizens of Havelock.
The Customer Service Department prides themselves on helping our citizens get ‘connected’ with city services.
The Finance Department, located at City Hall, oversees the daily financial and accounting operations of the City and is regulated by the provisions of the Local Government Budget and Fiscal Control Act.
Fire & Rescue
The Fire and Rescue Department is a small progressive municipal department that provides fire protection as well as an aggressive Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system providing services at the paramedic level.
The Information Technology Department assists and supports all other departments within city government with performing their individual functions.
Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department operates and maintains over 100 acres of parks and facilities including its home office at the Recreation Center located on Highway 101.
Planning & Inspections
The Planning and Inspections Department is responsible for reviewing all types of development proposals and their permit applications.
The purpose of the Havelock Police Department is to protect and serve.
The Public Utilities Department is responsible for water and sewer service in the city.
